The birth of a mug is a little bit of magic

From a shapeless lump of clay to a cup that warms your hands every morning. Join us on this journey — from the first spark of clay to a fully fired masterpiece.

Six stages of creation

The path from clay to cup

Every mug is the result of patience, precision, and fire. Here's the process that makes it truly special.

01

Kneading the clay

We start with carefully selected natural clay. Kneading and wedging removes air pockets — so your future mug is strong and smooth.

02

Throwing on the wheel

The wheel spins, hands feel the clay — and a form is born. Every millimeter matters, and calm breathing is part of the craft.

03

Drying & trimming

The piece rests while we smooth the walls, refine the rim, and attach the handle — the very one that feels just right in your hand.

04

Bisque firing

At 1000°C, the clay gains strength and a gentle ring. A fragile greenware form becomes a sturdy ceramic body.

05

Glazing

We dip the mug into glaze — it brings color, shine, and protection. Every shade is our palette and your mood.

06

Final firing

At 1200°C the glaze melts into glass. After that, your mug can be washed, loved, and used for morning coffee for decades.
